Adding a Power View Report

Power View reports can be created in the Pivotstream platform using Excel Core or Composite workbooks or BISM connections. 

 

  1. Log onto the Pivotstream platform with the administrator credentials
  2. Go to the Workbooks document library (or the document library that contains the file you want to base the Power View from).


  3. Use the context arrow next to the Core or Composite workbook or BISM connection you would like to use and select Create Power Report from the list. 


  4. Create the report then save. You can choose where to save the document by using the navigation in the save window.
